I’ve always been one of those people who do tons of research before buying anything and spend time making the best decision. When I was pregnant, this became even more important. I spent untold hours visiting stores, searching the web, talking to anyone who ever had a baby, and reading everything I could find looking for the best places to buy baby gear, rent a breast pump and hire a baby nurse. As my son grew, my searches turned towards finding the best babyproofer, birthday cakes and nursery schools.

I found the process to be extremely time-consuming and thought “wouldn’t it be nice if I could share my findings with other moms so they wouldn’t have to do all of this work?” Not to mention the amount of money I was spending! If only I could get stores to give us moms a break! Using my past experience as a marketing professional, I started BabyBucks in Fall 2003 with a handful of merchants. Now there are over 60 ways to save on maternity and baby goods and services!

When I look for BabyBucks merchants I look for places that offer good value. They may not always be the most well-known, the biggest or the cheapest, but they offer great selection, quality and service for your money. If I wouldn’t shop there, I wouldn’t expect you to either!
